Description

Valley Community Health Centers is a small FQHC clinic with locations in Grand Forks, Larimore, and Northwood. We are currently seeking a student as an Information Technology Assistant to join our team on a part time basis.

Job Description: Provide IT support to the clinic operations, including, but not limited to the following tasks:

  • Troubleshooting for end-users and answering any IT questions
  • Configuration and management of Active Directory policies
  • Upgrading client computers to Windows 10
  • Documentation of maintenance records on client computers
  • Creation and maintenance of IT policies and procedures
  • Maintenance of backup systems

Qualifications:
Required:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Be able to communicate clearly and precisely, both orally and in writing
  • Work independently and assist with multiple projects, priorities, and locations
  • Work under pressure with interruptions and challenging deadlines
  • Ability to problem solve and think critically
  • Ability learn quickly and adapt to sudden changes in projects

Preferred:

  • One to two years of experience
  • Ability to help effectively and tactfully upset end users
  • Ability to present technical information to end users in a non-technical manner
  • Willingness to learn new technologies
